Kiss false eyelashes

So today, I have the ultimate bargain to share with you! When applying false eye lashes I have the biggest of difficulties, as I imagine many others do! I glue my real eyelashes together, glue my fingers to my eyes and just never manage to get the actual lashes to stick and stay :( so when I came across these beauties with applicator strings I was amazed. I was amazed by the product let alone the price, I snapped up these bad boys for the small price of 96p or something ridiculous, I know it was defiantly in the penny range! They were from home bargains, must have been on offer or something so I grabbed about 8 :)

What you simply have to do is apply your glue to the strip then grab each string and put them in place, hold them down for a few minutes then when you see the glue has dried a little just slowly and gently pull on the string and it should slide out! Once complete they should look like this..

So I suggest if you have a home bargains near you then you should snap some up, even if not and you have trouble with applying false lashes you should check out your boots store :)
with that I shall leave you
ciao

Mac vs Clinique

So recently I thought i'd splash out and treat myself on some lovely mac goodies, I bought the studio fix fluid, studio careblend pressed powder and the studio sculpt concealer. I suffer with mega break outs so I like a full coverage, and to my disappointment mac didn't provide that! :( I know everyone rants and raves about the foundation but I didn't like it and I won't be purchasing it again. I got on with the concealer, it was just the powder and liquid foundation. I don't even really know how to explain why I didn't like it, but paying that amount I expected something a lot better than what I got and more of a coverage, I found it just made me look cakey and un-natural..

With that I thought I need to find something better, so thought i'd again splash out and took a trip to the clinique counter, I got matched up with my colour and all that jazz and decided on the repairwear anti-aging foundation, although its anti-aging its the fullest coverage they have. You honestly only need the smallest amount for the fullest of coverages :) if I don't set my foundation with a power it lasts about 10 minutes before its all melted off! So I treated myself to the clinique invisible blend face powder, which is colourless so it literally just sets it. It also came with the cutest little compact brush which is good to keep in your handbag! All in all after my two purchases I would seriously recommend clinique over anything! The smell is also sooo much nicer than mac, unless you like to smell like paint (whatever floats your boat) but yes, if you like a full coverage check out cliniques repairwear foundation! so good :)
